My Approach

Change can cause deep levels of distress, uncertainty, fear and overwhelm. Sometimes it is helpful to process feelings so that you can experience an improved quality of life 

I believe that counselling is a client-led collaborative process. Together we'll establish what you want to achieve within the sessions and design an approach that works for you. We'll aim for substantial and sustainable change that will empower you with the skills and strategies to take control and thrive.


My practice is trauma-informed and I draw on the skills and techniques found in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative therapy, and mindfulness and relaxation techniques. My approach is informed by current evidenced-based practice which helps guide our approach to achieve optimal outcomes.
